Texas is beautiful all year long — even in wintertime! As glowing sunlight streams through (mostly) bare tree branches, it fills the background with the most gorgeous bright and warm beams. Add in a precious, happy family and you have the perfect combination for stunning outdoor winter portraits.

What can I say about this beautiful, joy-filled family session except that it was as much fun to shoot as it is stunning! It’s always important having your family’s portraits taken through all stages of life, and there’s something really special about taking family portraits as the kids grow into adults, leave the home, and bring in new family members through marriage. It’s a joy for me as the photographer to get to capture and preserve a family’s love for one another as it matures — plus all of the funny, quirky family things that only parents and siblings know about translate into a beautiful photograph that will be enjoyed for years to come.
